The Benefits of a Mobile-Friendly Website (and What Happens Without One)

What 'Mobile-Friendly' Really Means

Tap-friendly buttons

Buttons should be at least 44×44 pixels with generous spacing. Anything smaller frustrates users with normal-sized thumbs.

Readable typography without zooming

Body text should be at least 16px. Line lengths should adapt so users don't have to swipe sideways to read.

One-tap contact

Your phone number should be tap-to-call. Your address should tap-to-open in Maps. Your contact form should work with mobile keyboards and autofill.
